In February 2026, California-based Tensor received approval from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority to test its SAE Level-4 personal vehicles in the United Arab Emirates.
Its stated ambition is to provide “The world’s First Personal Robocar”, a privately-owned vehicle with “true L4 autonomy” and “first-ever features that make it more than just a car”.
The Dubai testing forms part of Tensor’s broader preparation ahead of planned sales later this year, with a focus on data-driven evaluation.
