What are the Self-Driving Industry Awards?

Running every year since 2023, the Self-Driving Industry Awards celebrate excellence in automated mobility, in the UK and internationally.

Are entries open yet?

Yes, entries for the fourth annual Self-Driving Industry Awards (SDIA26) are now open.

Does my company qualify?

If your product or service is of benefit to the autonomous sector, then yes! Broadly, this equates to SAE Level 4 automated driving or above.

Is it free to enter?

No, sorry, there is an entry fee. We try to keep it as low as possible though, with no additional charges for presentation ceremony tickets or use of marketing assets.

What does it cost to enter?

  • Early bird (ends Fri 1 May): £499+VAT
  • Standard entry fee: £649+VAT
  • Launch Pad (for start-ups): £349+VAT
  • Entry plus company profile and/or advertising on Cars Of The Future: £1,499+VAT

What if we’re shortlisted?

All shortlisted candidates will be invited to the glittering Awards event at the Turner Contemporary, followed by bubbles, music and exceptional networking at our famous afterparty.

What if we win?

Each winner will receive a cherished Self-Driving Industry Awards certificate, a high resolution photo of them with their award, and use of our exclusive digital marketing assets including SDIA26 event logo and judges’ comments. 

What’s the entry deadline?

The deadline for entries is 5pm UK-time on Friday 11 September 2026.

Where and when is the presentation ceremony?

This year’s Awards will take place on the afternoon of Friday 16 October at the Turner Contemporary in Margate, UK.
